Does life and managing it seem to be incredibly large? It is if you are trying to think about all of it all at once. Break things about your life down to categories and then even further into fragments or parts of each category. If you can separate each dynamic of your person hood into a separate entity, suddenly life becomes easier.
Sometimes and for all of us, life becomes overwhelming. This happens when we allow outside influences effect how we think and the path we are trying to follow. The people who instigate the unnecessary, and quite obviously unrelated inferences of thought. Put these people and what they want you to think about aside, they rarely have any validity and even more rarely do they have your best interests at heart.
Take a physical look at your life dynamics. Write them down. The order does not matter, what matters is to separate them in your mind. Our lives change consistently and do not concern yourself should you miss one or two, they will surface as you need them. After you have your list , create another list of each dynamic and list the parts of each. For instance.
Desire for acceptance. A dynamic that is rooted inside all of us. Can be used as both positive by others and also negative.
Desire for acceptance. I am polite to others when addressing them. I earn my own, take nothing from others. I allow others their space and do not take away from them. etc.
It may seem to be a silly thing to do, making these lists. The end result will be that your mind will structure them and then juggle them like Maslows hierarchy of needs, as they are needed. Going through the list like a database and extracting the needed information to address the situation at hand. You will find your dealing with life's hurdles easier, faster, and also without becoming ungrounded. Our mind is exactly like a computer. It reacts depending on how its programmed.
Having a map of our self and the dynamic parts of each. Allows your mind to free up its conscious memory to address other things faster, easier, and much more efficiently. We all want life to be easier, a natural human trait.
Summary I view life like eating an elephant. Seems to be an impossible meal at first glance. However , anyone can do it. One Bite At A Time
